π Day

Pi (the Greek letter π) is the symbol for the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Pi Day is celebrated by math enthusiasts around the world on March 14th. Pi = 3.1415926535…”

An easy way to compute pi to your computer's precision is:
pi = 2 × acos(0)

which yields 3.14159265 on the computer I am using, where acos() is the inverse cosine function, available on virtually all computers.
