The most ridiculous pronouncement I have ever heard was a California liberal's assertion, "I have clarity of vision!" It was a patently false assertion, for how can you have clarity of vision if your eyes are circumscribed by your colon?

Many liberals of my personal acquaintance are not stupid people. By and large they are highly educated professionals, most of whom have succeeded financially (and otherwise) way beyond their relatively humble beginnings. Therein, I fear, lies the source of their myopia.

With rare exception, these vociferous leftists of my acquaintance worked hard to get where they are. But along the way to their individual successes, they lost sight of what got them there. To wit: they did their homework alright, but forgot that their homework was essential. There is no there there without it:

So these myopes want to share the wealth with one and all because, you know, "Everybody chairs things, bro". And that is the "vision" being sold by the likes of Snake-oil Obama, Batshit Crazy Pelosi, and Al Gore Your Ox. Unfortunately, in the world we actually have to live in, there is nothing that vanishes quicker than shared wealth. Why? Well because, boys and girls, there is nobody who is willing to replenish shared wealth. That's why.
