A Crisis of Crises

{link » A Choice of Crises}
“The hidden crisis of our failed education system, now a completely owned entity of the federal government, will eventually manifest itself in a population of graduates without the most basic skills or knowledge to meet the needs of a nation whose technologies require such fundamentals. The U.S. as it already does, will import the brains we need.

The one real crisis we have is the appalling stupidity demonstrated by a Congress wedded to a totally non-existent crisis, global warming. It is not happening. The Earth is growing cooler by the decade a new, completely predictable cooling cycle has begun. Laws based on global warming are invalid from the moment they are passed and our current Congress is led by morons like Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Harry Reid.”

 — Alan Caruba
Call it the perfect storm of crises, a trifecta of circumstances in which our failed education system, essentially owned by the federal government, which in turn is run by legislative morons currently holding sway in Congress, completes a vicious cycle of stupidity chasing its own tail ad nauseam. It's like the ignorant leading the moronic down the incestuous path of inbred folly. Interesting, as our Chinese competition would describe it.
