Uninformed Grandstanding

{link » The Futile Quest for Climate Control}
“Climate change knows three realities: science reality, which is what working scientists deal with every day; virtual reality, which is the wholly imaginary world inside computer climate models; and public reality, which is the socio-political system within which politicians, business people and the general citizenry work.” — Robert M. Carter
And then there is gore-like "reality", an instance of megalomania in which the megalomaniac transforms a personal loss into an intuitive grasp of reality and parlays the epiphany into a socio-political movement of biblical proportions. Such a "reality" is indistinguishable from faith-based dogma and fulfills the intrinsic need for uninformed grandstanding among the hordes of negiques the world over. There is no known cure.
