§ ≡ A section of  The Pilot's Saga { Genealogy « Chapter 0.1 » Chapter 0.2 }

As he entered the blue-green expanse, he looked back at the smoldering cities in the distance. He was leaving his home forever. The horrific sight jolted him into that single-minded zone of concentration he had trained for. The threshold of no return had been breached.
