Lucky 13

Aside from birth, death, marriage, and parenthood, arguably the three most important dates in any person's life correspond to citizenship, graduation, and retirement. And so it is for me.

Me @ge 7
I have had the great good fortune to: become a naturalized American citizen; receive my doctorate from Columbia University; and, retire from Los Alamos National Laboratory, all three on the same date — May 13th (of course, not all in the same year). This is why I celebrate today my personal Triple Anniversary.

Happy, happy, happy anniversary to me.

  1. Wishing you happiness cubed on your triple anniversary, my love.

  2. Belated wishes for a happy anniversary, anniversary, anniversary, Henry.

    Have a drink. Or three.

  3. Gulp; gulp; gulp.

    Thanx, Craig
